System planning and performance
- Database Growth
Due to the large number of formularies being imported with Advanced ePrescribing, the database server can fill with archive logs. When formularies are being updated, logs can be created every two minutes for several hours.
- Performance
Slow performance will occur when formulary downloads occur during the day. Configure the DTS eRx Eligibility task to run once per day during off-hours, or non-peak usage, and outside of the normal backup schedule.
- Upgrades
If you would like to upgrade to the latest CPS version, please visit our documentation page for upgrade information, configuration specifications, and planning and maintaining.
